ZEPPELIN, FERDINAND VON. (1838 –1917). German general and inventor of the Zeppelin rigid airships, founded the company Luftschiffbau Zeppelin; acted as an observer for the Union Army of the Potomac in the American Civil War (1863) where his interest in balloons developed under Thaddeus S.C. Lowe. Surprisingly Scarce Signed Postcard image of: “Zeppelin’s Luftschiff, Modell 4 1908” airship. Boldly signed “ Zeppelin ” on the photographic surface under the airship on the lower left side.

Exceedingly-rare Promotional card-board cut-out photo-image, issued by: “The Association of Conservative Clubs, Ltd.” for the year 1950, boldly Signed by him: “Winston S. Churchill”, in ink, under his image.

HARDING, WARREN G. (1865-1923). Twenty-ninth President of the United States (1921-1923); died in office, resulting in Calvin Coolidge becoming the 30th President. An impressive photograph depicting President Warren G, Harding’s first cabinet meeting in March of 1921. Boldly signed by him and eleven of his cabinet members, two of which were to become future Presidents, and one who was to become the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. The men are depicted sitting around a conference table in the White House, and each has signed beneath his image.
