Our appraisals comply with current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), government regulations, IRS policies, ethical practices of professional appraisal societies and other professional standards. We prepare objective, accurate appraisals for all fair market- value definitions, as well as replacement, estate, liquidation and marketable cash values. Each item to be appraised is checked for authenticity, carefully described and photographed by us. We then conduct comparative research and determine the most relevant descriptive and evaluative characteristics of the autograph, manuscript, rare book, photograph, archive or historical ephemera that factor into its value. 

All appraisal work is completed and billed by either our hourly, daily or negotiated fixed rate, never upon the value assigned to your material. We will appraise a single item or an entire collection.
