AGATHA CHRISTIE  — ENCOURAGES HER CORRESPONDENT TO GO SEE A PERFORMANCE OF HER  “THE MOUSETRAP”

CHRISTIE, AGATHA.  (1890-1976).  English novelist.  Good Autograph Letter Signed, “Agatha Christie,” on Winterbrook House, Wallingford, Berks letterhead.  One page, octavo. Berks. April 5th, 1972.   Accompanied by original envelope addressed by Christie to “Mr. Glaes-Goran Ugglas  / Sanfjards Galan  72 12 69  / Johanneshov /  Sweden,” Christie writes:

“Dear Mr. Claes-Goran Ugglas,   Thank you for your post card and interesting enclosure.  I hope you will manage to come and see The Mousetrap one day.  —  It is still running very well at present. With best wishes to you & your wife. Yours-Sincerely Agatha Christie.”

Any letter with reference to her better know or beloved works commands serious consideration, by the collector. The Mousetrap opened in London’s West End in 1952 and ran continuously until 16 March 2020, a period of nearly 68 years! —  This letter presents an opportunity to not be missed!  Very fine condition.
