SETON-THOMPSON, ERNEST.  (1860-1946).  English-born Canadian-American author, wildlife artist and illustrator;  one of the founding pioneers of the Boy Scouts of America.  Autograph Letter Signed, “Ernest Seton-Thompson”. One full page, octavo.  “144 Fifth Ave., B-4”, New York, January 10, 1900.  Very fine condition.  To “Dear Miss Cromwell”.  Seton writes: “Yours of 9th in hand.  My essay is The Picturesque Side of Wild Animals.  I accept with pleasure your kind invitation to lunch.  Yours cordially, Ernest Seton-Thompson.  [P.S.] I shall arrive just before the lecture next time?”.
