Traces of mounting on verso where addressed, else very fine condition. Addressed on verso to “Mrs. Margarethe Moller, 71, Shooter’s Hill Road, Blackheath, Kent”, with postal cancellation. Grieg writes: “I am still very weak after my illness, and because of that, I will not be able to fulfill all the previously made obligations, never mind do the entertaining. I therefore very much regret not being able to give the concert proposed by you. Respectfully, Edvard Grieg”.
