VERDI, GIUSEPPE. (1813-1901)  Italian composer.  Attractive Autograph Note Signed, “G. Verdi”, in Italian, on his personal imprinted calling card.  Measuring 3.5″ x 2″.  No place, no date. With original envelope with recipients name penned in Verdi’s hand.  Extremely fine condition.  Verdi writes:  “Arrange the meeting as per your letter to me.  I did foresee Linda’s dismissal. You did the right thing. As for Linda, I will do what is necessary. Again, my best wishes. Arrivederci! G. Verdi.”
