ROBERT FROST ON HIS “LECTURING”, OR LACK THEREOF!
FROST, ROBERT. (1874-1963). American poet. Somewhat uncommon, Autograph Letter Signed, “Robert Frost”. One full page, octavo. Amherst, Massachusetts, February 22, 1931. Very fine condition. To “Dear Mr. Leigh”. Frost writes: “Thanks very much for your interest in arranging me a course of lectures: I may want to talk with you another year. I just don’t see my way far enough ahead to promise anything for next winter. That’s the way it is with me usually: I am in no position to plan far in advance; and that is why I have never taken up with any agent. Sincerely yours, Robert Frost”.
