WOODROW WILSON AS PROFESSOR OF JURISPRUDENCE & POLITICS — AT PRINCETON UNIVERSITY
WILSON, (THOMAS) WOODROW. (1856-1924). Twenty-eighth President of the United States. Uncommon Autograph Statement Signed “Woodrow Wilson”, as Princeton University “Professor of Jurisprudence & Politics” on light mint-green stationery. One full page, crown octavo. [Princeton, NJ], August 10, 1899. Very fine condition. Certifying George Kinkaid in his coursework at the University. Wilson writes:
“To All Whom It May Concern, This is to certify that Mr. George B. Kinkead, II, attended and creditably passed in all my courses in Jurisprudence and Politics except that in ‘Constitutional Government in the United States.’ He is entitled to be credited with full work in the subjects covered. Woodrow Wilson, Professor of Jurisprudence & Politics, Princeton University.”
A very fine example, and a choice item for the Presidential collector seeking full holograph letters to complete their collections.
