One page, octavo. London, April 4, 1835. His red wax royal seal impressed at lower corner of page. To his nephew-in-law, Sir Charles Bagot, English diplomat, colonial administrator and later Governor General of the Province of Canada (1841-1843). Pencil notation as to identity of Wellington as the author, else very fine condition. Wellington writes: “My dear Bagot, Could you call upon me in Piccadilly at about seven o’clock this afternoon, Every yours – W. — The Most Honorable Sir Charles Bagot.”
