We have wide-ranging experience in developing impressive collections in the following areas: American Presidents, Scientists & Inventors, Signers of the Declaration of Independence, Supreme Court Justices, Americana, Revolutionary War, Royalty, World Leaders, Statesmen,
Women, Medicine, Nobel Prize Winners, Black Americana, Explorers, Financiers, Business, Civil War, World War II, Military Leaders, Artists, Painters, Sculptors, Authors, Poets, Novelists, Playwrights, Law, Musicians and Composers.
After consulting with each client to define and understand the direction and focus desired by them, we are able to take those ideas, focus them, and develop a strategy for developing a collection that will inspire and delight for years to come.
We give careful consideration to every aspect of collection development with an emphasis on objectively advising our clients how to make the best selections in terms of importance, content, rarity, fit, relative availability and value of the material involved. We also cover archival standards for conservation and display of these important items. We are only as actively involved in the process as our clients need us to be. We can “do it all” or simply act as a guide and mentor.
We have been able to acquire significant and highly important pieces for specialty collections. Our acquisition services extend beyond our extensive inventory of autograph letters, manuscripts, signed documents, signed photographs, signed and inscribed books, first editions, historic artifacts and musical quotations. We excel in locating hard-to-find material, and our clients benefit from our experience by having us serve as agent to acquire these materials worldwide.
