NICE SIGNATURE OF BRET HARTE

HARTE, BRET.  (1836–1902) American short story writer and poet best remembered for short fiction featuring miners, gamblers, and other romantic figures of the California Gold Rush.  His signature “Bret Harte” penned on a slip of paper, affixed to a gold paper disk.  Signature is approx ¾ x 2 inches.  Removed from an autograph album assembled in the 1920’s.  Perfect for insertion in one of his books!
