KLEE, PAUL. (1879-1940). Swiss-born German painter; blended concepts from expressionism, cubism, and surrealism into his unique style that made him a master of color theory.  Brief Autograph Note written on a picture postcard of “Thebes, The Hypostyle Hall of Ramesseum”, Boldly Signed, “Klee.”, in German.  “Luxor, Egypt” One page, octavo. No date. [1930’s]. Addressed to Herrn Professor Kohler / Director des Schlossmuseum / in Weimar (Thiir.) Allemagne.”  With Egyptian stamp and circular ‘Luxor/ WINTER PALACE’ Egyptian postal cancellation. Klee writes:  “My warmest regards to you and your revered wife / From your / Klee”.  A characteristically signed example of his rather uncommon autograph.Â
