INTERESTING AND INTIMATE FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED
ROOSVELT, FRANKLIN (1882-1945) 32nd President of the United States. Attractive and somewhat uncommon, Autograph Letter Signed, “Franklin D. Roosevelt”. One page, quarto. No place, no date, put most probably pre-presidential. Very fine condition. Roosevelt writes:
“still here and Eleanor and the children come up on Fridays – We go down for good on December 4th and do hope you will come in and see us if you are in New York. Mama joins me in much love. Affectionately your, Franklin D. Roosevelt.”
Interesting content. Such personal and intimate reflections in letter form rarely appear in Roosevelt’s correspondence. Worthy of inclusion in any set of Presidential letters.
