SIGNED CABINET PHOTOGRAPH OF GROVER CLEVELAND

CLEVELAND, GROVER.  (1837-1908).  Twenty-second and twenty-fourth President of the United States (1885-9, 1893-7).  Albumin octavo Cabinet Photograph Signed, “Grover Cleveland”, underneath his image, possibly as President.   No place, no date [circa 1883-85]. Cleveland is depicted in a half-length bust pose facing left. [Approx 4 1/2 x 7 inches]. Mounting stain in lower right corner, and scuff at top center, as seen, otherwise fine condition.  Image is by ‘McDonald & Sterry / Artistic Photographs / 520 & 522 Broadway / Albany, N.Y.’ with their imprint on the verso.  Signed images of Cleveland, taken by their studio, are uncommon.
