Headed “Private”, and docketed “Received 5 Sept” in Hunter’s hand. Hayes writes:
“Enclosed please find Mr. Evarts [William M Evarts] supplementary opinion in the La Abros [?] case, affirmed by me, and sent you awaiting action. Sincerely, R.B. Hayes”.
