ROOSEVELT, ELEANOR.  (1884-1962).  First Lady.  Typed Letter Signed, “Eleanor Roosevelt”, on her name-imprinted stationery.  One page, large octavo.  New York, May 4, 1962.  Very fine condition.  To “Dear Miss Cottin”.  Roosevelt writes: “Thank you very much for your letter and Floyd Patterson’s autobiography Victory Over Myself.  I will try and read it at my first opportunity and appreciate your sending it to me.  Very sincerely yours, Eleanor Roosevelt”.
