EDISON, THOMAS A.  (1847-1931). American inventor.  Partly-Printed Check Signed, “Thos. A. Edison”.  One page, oblong octavo.  West Orange, New Jersey, September 27, 1928.  Countersigned by ‘J. Miller’.  Drawn on Edison Botonic Research Corporation and made out to “J.V. Miller” in the amount of $80.00.  Edison signature is slightly smudged and punch cancellation affects several letters of Edison’s signature, as normal with this type of document, else very fine condition.
