SIR WINSTON S. CHURCHILL

A SIGNED WALTER STONEMAN PHOTOGRAPH OF THE WAR-TIME PRIME MINISTER TAKEN IN 1941 

CHURCHILL, WINSTON (1874-1965).  Prime Minister of Great Britain. Vintage matte-finish Walter Stoneman photograph taken in November of 1941, depicting Churchill in a full face, 1/2 length bust pose seated, with his right hand on the Cabinet War Room table.  Approximately 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches in size.   Affixed to the original photographer’s mount, and boldly signed in fountain pen, “W-S. Churchill” under his image.   Right edge of mount is slightly uneven, else fine condition. 

This eye-catching image is one of the more uncommon iconic photographs of the legendary statesman taken by Stoneman.  If you want something ‘more’ than just a ‘lifeless’ clipped signature, then this signed photograph, of World War II vintage, at an affordable price, is it!
