Fine condition. To “My Dear Sir”. [Richard Kippist (1812–1882) English botanist and librarian of the Linnean Society]. Sending a long paper to the Society. Darwin writes:
“My dear Sir, I send by the carrier tonight a long paper for the Society. Will you have the kindness to send me one line to say that it has been received[?] I will write tomorrow – the post is going. My dear Sir, Yours very faithfully, Ch. Darwin.”
Extremely fine condition, and a nice example for framing or display.
