FARADAY, MICHAEL. (1791-1867). British physicist and chemist. Autograph Letter Signed, “M. Faraday”, on blind-embossed and crested Royal Institution of Great Britain stationery. One page, octavo. London, February 4, 1859. Traces of mounting on verso, else very fine condition. To “My dear Mr. Lucier”. Faraday writes: “I have read with much interest your notes of Egypt and now return them I trust quite safe. I owe you many thanks for your kindness and for the pleasure they have given me. Ever truly yours, M. Faraday”.   A fine letter for any  set of scientific autographs.
