  THEODORE ROOSEVELT

FABULOUS CONCLUSION OF A TYPED LETTER, BOLDLY SIGNED, WITH GREAT T.R. COMMENT:  “MY LANGUAGE WOULD BE TOO STRONG!”

ROOSEVELT, THEODORE.  (1858-1919).  Twenty-sixth President of the United States (1901-9).  Conclusion of a Typed Letter Signed, “Theodore Roosevelt”, with Roosevelt adding 6 words entirely in his hand.   One page, 3 1/2 x 5 1 1/4 inches approximately.  No place, no date, but probably circa 1900. Roosevelt writes:

“…that report of your talk.  Need I say that I believe in every word you say?  I am not at liberty to speak about what has been going on here, my language would be too strong!  Faithfully yours, Theodore Roosevelt”.

Want something better than just a plain signature for your Presidential autograph collection?  Then this is it!  Roosevelt’s signature measures over 3 inches in length.
