“Sir Walter Scott begs to express his sincere regret that the arrangements of his jour[ney] will not permit him to have the honor of waiting on Mrs. Griffith; tomorrow agreebly to her very obliging invitation thenecessity of being at Corke at an early hour tomorrow prevents his doing himself the honor and also his visiting the ruins of Kilcolman.”
