a sailboat ride for his mother

STEVENSON, ROBERT LOUIS. (1850-94). Scottish novelist, essayist and poet. Scarce Autograph Letter Signed, “Robert Louis Stevenson.” One page, octavo. No place, no date. Very fine condition. To “Dear Captain Otis.” Stevenson writes:

“I find my mother wants very much to have a sail in the boat, I wish you would see she has a good one. I keep mending, I think, but it is a slow process. Yours, Robert Louis Stevenson.”
