SULLIVAN, SIR ARTHUR. (1842-1900). English composer. Manuscript Letter Signed, “Arthur Sullivan,” on his imprinted 1, Queen’s Mansions, Victoria Street, S.W. stationery. One full page, octavo. London, October 14, 1894. Traces of mounting on verso, else very fine condition. To “V. Langammer, Esq.” Sullivan writes:

“Dear Sir, I have not yet received the libretto which you say you have kindly forwarded to me. I merely write this to let you know in case it has miscarried. I am very busy with new works at present, and therefore could not undertake anything fresh for some time, but I should not like your manuscript to be lost. Yours very truly, Arthur Sullivan.”
