and adds courses

ARCHIPENKO, ALEKSANDR P. (1887-1964). Ukrainian-American sculptor. Uncommon Typed Letter Signed, “A. Archipenko.” One page, quarto. “500 No. Dearborn Str., Chicago, Ill.,” September 22, 1938. Fine condition. To “Dear Mrs. Stanton.” Archipenko writes:

“I have the pleasure to let you know that mt [sic, my] School in Chicago is reopened for this season and that I have added courses in practical design. (Included the detailed information). I recall our successful work of last year and it will be a great pleasure for me to help you again in your studies. The classes start on September 26th, and I hope you will be able to join at this time. Very truly yours, A. Archipenko.”
